I grilled chicken breast and skirt steak for fajitas. I have been sick the last week and can't taste savory. I can taste sweet though. I skipped the fajitas and ate canned pears.

Homemade gumbo was dinner last night. My first attempt at Louisiana cuisine.

    Hope you feel better, Joe!

I hate not being able to taste good food like that. Last night we made an attempt at low carb lasagna - 96% lean burger cooked with yellow oinions and a savory sauce, sliced yellow and zuchini squash, cottage, ricotta and mozerella cheeses, whole portobello mushrooms cooked in individual size Pyrex dishes. I brought a leftover to work with me today. We forgot to add pepperoni but did sprinkle them with Parmesan cheese as they came out of the oven.

My two sons and daughter-in-law had garlic cheesy Texas Toast with theirs...

I must admit I didn't cook this. I ate at the French Market Grille in Augusta. I highly recommend it. The food and service are impeccable.
