He's a four star big out of Cali that's down to us and California. The media is hyping Cal(ifornia) vs Cal(ipari) in this. Lee is underrated as a four star guy. He's a legit five star with raw offensive ability, but tremendous shotblocking ability. Sounds like Davis and Noel. He was at Big Blue Madness and called UK "perfect." Getting him away from home could be hard, but who knows.


Wonder if Cal waits out for Randle and risks this one. If Lee wants to come, I'd take him, because we'll need some bigs in this class.

I don't think Lee would affect Randle at all. Lee is a true center, as opposed to a combo forward like Randle. Wiggins, however, might affect Randle. It's tough to imagine Wiggins and Randle coexisting. Lee would be a great pick-up for UK. He's not quite as highly-rated as the centers UK has gotten over the past several years, but his upside is tremendous. It seems like he'll end up at UK.

Honestly, if Randle is involved with another recruit in an either or situation, the word on the street is that it's either Randle or Gordon, BofUF. I think Cal would take Wiggins (whod play the three for us), Gordon/Randle (the four), and Lee (five).

My point was that Cal might ask Lee to wait to commit due to Randle, who's waiting till the spring. Either way those three with the four we already have would be great.

Lee is announcing tomorrow; days after his UK visit. He was supposed to go to Cal this weekend, but that's been cancelled. Take it for what it's worth.

Oh yeah. This might be my fave commit of the class. Cal is masterful with these raw on offense, deadly blocking shot kind of players!!!!!

What's astonishing to me is we are going into people's backyards and taking players. We got James Young from Izzo, even Derek Willis came out of Louisville. Now, Lee is from all the way in California.

We didn't "steal" from other territory by taking Willis from Louisville. This is our state and we own it. Period. Hell, their own city is our largest alumni base.
