    Injuries 2012

It's been a bad season for the Hogs, we've lost 4 for the season, 3 starters, had 10 players miss games
Saturday the Hogs play UK who have also lost 4 for the season and had 8 players miss games. Our injuries have made our troubles even worse.

I know Bama has lost several backups

Lsu lost a terrific lineman whose absence has taken away their running ability.

    Auburn is banged up,

    SC lost Shaw

Georgia lost it's best pass receiver.

I know other SEC schools have had the injury plague as well.
73 Days until the start of Razorback Football.

    Re: Injuries 2012

Losing Fowler is the biggest hit for Bama, as he was a load between the tackles in short yardage and has very quick feet. I feel truly bad for Dee, two seasons in a row is tough to deal with but he is a young guy who can bounce back. Same for DW, he has time to put this injury behind him and become a star. We are gonna be okay at WR with the talent and Christian Jones is a very good PR, but losing Fowler is big time.
"Alabama's cornerbacks don't impress me one bit. They're overrated. Real men don't play zone defense and we'll show them a thing or two come January 1."

Miami WR Lamar Thomas, the weeks before the 1993 Sugar Bowl national title game.

George Teague proceeds to embarrass Thomas in one of the most memorable (non)plays in CFB history.

Florida's best pass rusher, Ronald Powell, is missing the whole season (ACL)
starting LB Jelani Jenkins has barely played this year because of an arm injury than a hamstring issue early v LSU
OT Matt Patchan still has not played

Those are probably the 3 most extensive injuries on top of the ones that have not cost guys the extended time.
Harvey and Wheeler and pray for rain

Shackleford. With him, we win that Bama game.

Michigan lost it's top cornerback in Blake Countess after only three plays in the Bama game. I'll never understand why you have your top CB, at a position with terrible depth, playing the "gunner" on freaking punt coverage.

other than that, we've had a fairly injury free season

Your coach cost you the A&m game. If he hadn't gone for 4th and 1 from his own 39 from the SHOTGUN, you might have won the game. Don't blame the officials!

It makes a body tingle. These folks go berserk when the band marches on the field. A huge roar is heard for the invocation, for heaven's sake. They not only know the words to the national anthem, they sing them, loudly. And when the Tigers win the toss...there are tears of ecstasy."
