We have a big party in Augusta every Friday before the UGA/USC game. It draws around 20,000 people every year. We get the mascots, Hairy Dawg and Cocky, and the Cheerleaders of both teams here. The cheerleaders and the mascots make their rounds during the day visiting disabled kids and adults and going to the Children's Medical Center and MCG hospital. They have a very long day with another one coming Saturday. Hey pull for your team to win, but the winners today were the special people who got to see the cheerleaders and the mascots and have them be the focus of attention, not a game. Damn tears me up. In the link I post. The video has my disabled cousin at the 1:04 mark. The picture in the link is her, the UGA cheerleaders and just part of her Mom, my cousin Dawne's back taking the picture.
This is why these games have meant less to me over the years. Some things are just more important.

This is the pic the cheerleaders took with Baylie when she was twelve that won her the AJC's Ultimate Bulldawg fan.
