His top five is Stanford, BYU, Duke, Michigan State, and Florida. Michigan State and Duke are probably the leaders, but hopefully we can change his mind on his visit.

I have a hard time thinking he goes to Stanford/Florida. He's always said he wants to stay close to home (MSU), and Duke is Duke. BYU has the Mormon affiliation. Some people would say he's down to the two best coaches in the country at Duke and MSU, so he can't go wrong even if he picks D from a coaching perspective.
KT is so knowelegable about basketball, he can back his **** up. He can rip a program 6 ways to Sunday, yet turn around in the next breath and explain why that same program should/could/will be/is a great program.

I like and respect kentubby, he does know his stuff when it concerns college basketball.

This board would be boring if it wasn't for Kentubby's posts and the responses he gets.

Kentubby is one of my favorite posters on this board. Sure he has some personal views, but this board would be so if everyone agreed all the time that it wouldn't be worth going to. I'd challenge you to find another poster on this board that knows as much about EVERY SEC team as he does. He knows more about lowly South Carolina and our recruiting then alot of our own fans do. It would be a sad day for the basketball forum if he ever left.

I don't think we have a great chance of getting him either, but you never know. It's just awesome that we're getting the top two players in the class (well, until Wiggins reclassifies) both in for official visits.

Donovan has turned it up. I think there was perception that Florida was not for one and dones but Beal changed that. Walker and Hill committing helps build it up that Florida is a viable option. Donovan is not conceding anyone now and is going hard after Parker and Randle. You never know because Florida's campus is a great place and Donovan is building real tradition. This is part of what makes Donovan special. He isn't selling a name like Kansas. He built this and to have a legit chance, even if he has ground to make up, is big. That is the thing. Like KT said, Duke is Duke but that is because of K. What was Duke before K. Donovan is doing the work to one day leave that type of legacy IMO. If, and I know its a big if, Florida could even get one man what a huge year that could be. Especially since Embiid probably favors Florida.
Alibis, angles and tales from the tropics
Come to my mind, so easy and quick
Spacemen from Mars stole all of my money
I could play the game
The love me anyway.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it
That's my life and all that I got
Call me a liar, call me a writer
Believe me or not
Because of you... I walk the line

GM, Duke was in the national title game three years before K went there. They also had a final four in 1966. Vubas and Foster were great coaches there before K. Comparing D's situation is a bit of a discredit to D.
Billy made it public that he changed his recruiting to fit how Tubby was doing, because we were dominating. Cal is doing the same thing now, and D is trying to mimick UK again.
I think Florida will have to piece great classes year after year tho to get where UK and Duke are tho. This current freshman class is light on elite guys and for a time there D was missing on bigs. That's corrected now tho. You guys could get four of the top ten. I'd like your chances with Randle more than Parker.

He's deciding today at 4 EST on ESPNU. Florida has picked up a lot of buzz lately. We'll see. Either way, great recruiting job by Donovan here.![]()
Yes, Im ready for this announcement...nobody knows where he is going. he is making it quiet. Which is good, let the kid decide where he wants to be at. This will be fun

I'd be shocked if it's not Duke. I've heard Michigan State too, but I think this is all Duke. He seems like a Duke kid, and has always seemed to favor Duke. That game on national TV that they lost had K and Izzo there; UF sending an assistant makes me really wonder about if they really are the pick. Who knows.

just as long as it isn't MSU
twitter gossip says he's a Florida lean, but his parents want him to go to Duke.
