After the first five weeks of the CFB season, the SEC East has really emerged as being a really fun division to watch every week. The games are exciting, they score points and have big time defensive playmakers. The teams are also very good at the top, elite, which has not been the case the past few years post-Tebow. But this year, the East may have more elite teams than the West, and hell maybe even have the best team. I believe Bama has fewer holes than any team in the East, but injuries are starting to pile up and we still have some big time tests. LSU is the same way, they are not as solid as they were last year all around. Not that UGA, SC and UF dont have big time holes in places, but by the end of the year, one of those teams may be on par with the best in the West and could play for a national title. The big inter-division games like USC/LSU, UT/Bama (not as big) favor UGA as they miss all the best of the West, but SC's schedule got easier when Arkansas imploded (but hey so did Bamas and LSUs) yet is still much tougher than UGA's out of division. UF and USC both play LSU, and if LSU doesnt sweep that makes the East really interesting and could vault an East team into the top of the AP Poll. Bama doesnt play a big from the East but the West winner is gonna have to play the East winner and we could possibly see #1 v. #2 again this year if a team from the East doesnt lose a big game.
