right, joe. Anderson's last Mizzou team (and it was experienced) wasn't that good on the road, because only a handful of teams each year are. If Arkansas can hold serve at home (even maybe lose a game there), but win just two of three home games, that should be enough to get them in the NCAAT IMO. As I've been saying, I just wonder how all the bigs will fit into play. Who comes off the bench or do you play all three in the starting lineup. I'd imagine Mickelson will start either way, becuase of the three he's really the only five.
KT is so knowelegable about basketball, he can back his **** up. He can rip a program 6 ways to Sunday, yet turn around in the next breath and explain why that same program should/could/will be/is a great program.

I like and respect kentubby, he does know his stuff when it concerns college basketball.

This board would be boring if it wasn't for Kentubby's posts and the responses he gets.

Kentubby is one of my favorite posters on this board. Sure he has some personal views, but this board would be so if everyone agreed all the time that it wouldn't be worth going to. I'd challenge you to find another poster on this board that knows as much about EVERY SEC team as he does. He knows more about lowly South Carolina and our recruiting then alot of our own fans do. It would be a sad day for the basketball forum if he ever left.

I think we'll start Wade, Scott or Madden, Clarke, Powell, and Mickleson. Young will continue to come off the bench. Anderson likes to use him as that explosive spark on the first substitution. Young has been okay with it.

Who's guarding threes on the perimeter in that lineup tho? Poythressor a team with a three smalls look like Florida could take advantage of that. Mizzou with its options at the 3 could exploit that, too.

say its Dre and Madden at the guards, one is 6-3 the other is 6-5.
Dre is a terrific offense and defensive player, Madden has freakishly long arms for his height. If it's Scott he's 6-4. He's also a terrific man to man defender. And he's quick in our matchup zone. Wagner, Spivey, and Gully will provide decent depth at guard.
We can bring in 6-6 Qualls and 6-8 Williams at the small forward spot. Mike's building a team that's more concerned about what it can do than what other teams can do, like Nolans best teams.

I think Qualls is the answer better than a three guard look or a three bigger guys look. The 3s in this leagye are too rangy and quick and athletic to play a small guy on them or a bigger guy that might not be able to hang with them on the perimeter. Qualls is of that mode though.
