    Team USA Basketball

Kobe has taken one Anthony Davis under his wing, according to the Mamba. That's taking two of my absolute loves and putting them together. Great to see Kobe passing along his wisdom to the next great star. Kobe dominated the last 15 years and now he's maybe setting up the next 15 for Davis! Great to see the NBA's best and most decorated player giving back like this.
KT is so knowelegable about basketball, he can back his **** up. He can rip a program 6 ways to Sunday, yet turn around in the next breath and explain why that same program should/could/will be/is a great program.

I like and respect kentubby, he does know his stuff when it concerns college basketball.

This board would be boring if it wasn't for Kentubby's posts and the responses he gets.

Kentubby is one of my favorite posters on this board. Sure he has some personal views, but this board would be so if everyone agreed all the time that it wouldn't be worth going to. I'd challenge you to find another poster on this board that knows as much about EVERY SEC team as he does. He knows more about lowly South Carolina and our recruiting then alot of our own fans do. It would be a sad day for the basketball forum if he ever left.

That is what the Mamba does and although I despise mostly anything UK related, it is even better and more important to see Davis is willing to soak up everything he can during this Olympic run. Altho he isnt going to play much he is doing the best thing for him. A lot of guys wouldn't even think of this, good to see for Davis cause he has room to grow and this experience will only make him better in the years to come

About to break the all time record for points scored in a game 138. Carmelo had 37 and only played 3 quarters.

What was Kobe and Davis' line?

    Kobe 16 and 3

    Davis 9 and 6

As a team they hit 29-45 from 3. That's freaking crazy

I've read where a lot of the guys on the team are really impressed with Davis' attitude and ability to listen and learn. Earning all the veterans respect will go a long way for him.

Thanks WV. Saw Melo broke a record with 37 points that included another record ten threes. Davis even started the second half! The guys were ribbing him for not having his jersey under his warm-up. Just think he'll likely be the only vet on the next Olympic team.
