Thoughts on the Daytona 500 that stretched 3 days

That was crazy! We're talking all Sunday, all Monday, and the early morning hours of Tuesday. Never in my wildest dreams did I think we'd see a jet dryer truck get pounded by a stock car and then blow up with 40 laps to go. Wackiest Daytona weekend ever!

And Danica Patrick do us all a favor and go make us a sammich.

I've seen the red pick up trucks with fire extinguishers before at a NASCAR track, but I don't recall ever seeing actual fire trucks having to be called out. It was crazy night for sure.

The Danica comment is funny. It won't get you any pc points, but funny none the less.

It wasn't even a race pre-empting House. It was a bunch of f**king drivers standing around, answering inane questions about Twitter accounts. And you wonder why NASCAR is considered the sport of barefoot, retarded hillbillies.

Formula One and sports cars race in the rain. Perhaps it is time for NASCAR to follow suit...

When they were out there cleaning the track, the only thing I could think of was "Why isn't Danica doing all the cleaning?"

I rarely watch NASCAR outside of the Daytona races, but this one was really strange. Love the pack racing, although, Biffle must have forgotten how to race Daytona on the final laps. The fans and the drivers hated the rain delays, but I'm sure the vendors loved it! The jet dryer incident was freaky as hell.
