We have reservations for our anniversary at Kayne Prime in Nashville this month. Looking forward to eating at what is supposed to be the best steakhouse in Nashville.

Alright you Cajuns, I'm looking for Nawlins recommends.

We're cruising out of NOLA at the end of September and will spend 2 nights in the Big Sleazy before we board. I want off the beaten path places (no Central Grocery, no Acme Oyster House, no Cafe du Monde).

As I mentioned before, you'll find top notch crabcakes at The Alpine in the Quarter if they are still open. It's a sports bar as well, so plenty of big screen televisions to stay on top of the action (I was there in football season, having traveled down for the 2008 UGA-LSU game). Oh, and Mahoney's has interesting sandwiches, with their ham being marinated in root beer(!).
    Go Dawgs!

Steamboat Bills on the Lake in Lake Charles, LA.

    Best fried catfish in town.

The Cajun food is excellent, too.

We ate at Wolfgang Puck's Cut in Las Vegas last month. Best steak I've ever eaten...as it should have been for $88 for an 8 oz ribeye.

I went to College Station, TX for work in February. We ate at several restaurants. My favorites were J Cody's and Rudy's.
