Yea I heard LSU was looking for an opponent but I seriously doubt its going to be a big OOC opponent, probably another cupcake, because LSU has Auburn the next week. LSU's OOC schedule next season is pitiful. Well unless Troy is gonna be as good as they were this year, that team was decently talented.

Was it Troy's talent or Troy's offense, which has now become Auburn's offense with much more talented players?

Now thats a good question, I don't know LSU didn't play Troy last year. I don't really know anything about their team, maybe a fan of another SEC school who played Troy could enlighten us, any help fellas?

MKAU, you saying AU is gonna be a beast next year?

If you know me well enough which you probably don't (but I do have backup on this claim), I've been saying since before this past season even started that 2008 Auburn will be a great team and probable national title contender. I stand by it now. The offensive coordinator change has actually increased my belief in that, and the defensive coordinator change has not effected my confidence in either direction.

Auburn's stars this past season were frosh and sophs. Other than a DT leaving early there is virtually no talent/experiance loss except at QB, which is really addition by subtraction. The schedule is superbly in Auburn's favor, outside of a road game at West Virginia.

In short, yeah. Auburn is a force to be reckoned with in 2008. The only team I consider possible equals in conference at this point is UGA.

Nothing against LSU but I just don't think a team can do it two years in a row these days. As far as Florida is concerned they'll lose a little more every year until Meyer gets fired (people are beginning to figure them out).

I knew AU was young but honestly I didn't know much about them, AU usually has a good team, so this is no surprise, and in the AU/LSU series the home team (at least in the last several years) has won, so I guess this will be AU's year. Do yall play UGA in the regular season this year?

Auburn and UGA have played every year for the past 110something years. Yeah, tack on another one in Auburn for next season.

It could easily be the biggest game of the year. It'll be right near the end of the season and both teams could easily go into it undefeated, and obviously highly ranked.

I'd love to play any of those schools on that list.
