Wait a minute!! The numbers must be wrong. Bama fans have told me that ARK and BAMA's defenses are better than UGA's.

We couldn't possibly be second in total defense, could we?

LOL, UGA fans have been just as guilty in poor-mouthing the Bulldawgs. I can def. see Bama lose that game.

    Re: SEC Leaders

    This stood out to me:

    Rushing Defense...

    1. LSU................. 3 91 90 1.0 1 30.0
    2. Florida............. 3 79 138 1.7 2 46.0
    3. Georgia............. 3 101 273 2.7 3 91.0

The gap between 2 and 3 is nearly double. Those first two run defenses are insane. 1 yard and 1.7 yard per carry is unbelievable.

    This is also amazing:

    1. LSU................. 3 90 295 168 385 2.3 1 128.3
    2. Georgia............. 3 273 508 187 781 4.2 4 260.3

LSU's D is giving fewer than half the yards of the second place D - that is unreal...

Anyone else see the irony that LSU's backup QB is in the top ten passing avg?

The Efficiency is high because 25 of his 33 snaps came from MTSU.
Mathieu is a phenomenon he makes more big plays per touch of the football than anyone I can remember. His first back-breaking play this game was a 92-yard punt return for a touchdown his third TD of the season that left this place as loud as it might ever have been during daylight hours.

I could just hear Tiger Stadium rocking in my cleats, Mathieu said.

Yeah, LSU's D is sick. Even more impressive to me is that they're allowing only 2.3 points per game. Next closest in the NATION is Cincinnati with 5.3. South Carolina is closest in the SEC with a total over 4x as high at 9.7. Truly mind boggling.
