Van Horn should have his best team at Arkansas in 16 seasons. There are no weak spots. Anything less than Omaha is unacceptable. In fact, anything less than an appearance in the championship series is unacceptable. The Great Red Army must crush all kulaks and all other retards.

I’m excited about this season. Florida has a better roster than last year. Offense should be a lot better. Lost our ace but bring back Singer and Kowar (both are top10 prospects going into the season) and the guy who won the championship clinching victory. Bullpen will be deeper. Power arms everywhere. This team legitimately could be better than last year and now they have figured out how to win in Omaha.

Arkansas vs Florida in the championship series at Omaha. On paper they are the best two teams in the nation IMHO. One poll has them ranked 1-2.

Arkansas has 3 experienced starters on the mound in their rotation, with the best group of arms Van Horn has ever assembled top to bottom. That's saying something, because Van Horn has really never been short on pitchers. Friday night ace Blaine Knight went 5 innings in Arkansas's opener and allowed no hits. Blaine is second team ALL-SEC preseason, and he may be the best of all in the end. His stuff was good yesterday.
He does the best job any pitcher can do at keeping the ball low in the zone. The Hogs pounded Bucknell 14-2. Bucknell is the preseason pick to win their conference and will most likely be in the NCAA tournament.

Would be a heck of a match up for certain.

Singer was dominant last night. 8 Ks in 7 and the only run was unearned. Only allowed three base runners. His stuff is so nasty. To be honest he was probably our most talented pitcher even last year with Faedo. Kowar is considered the number 10 prospect in the upcom My draft with Singer number 1. Their stuff is nasty. Dyson’s experience and success v WF in the Super and then in Omaha sets him up well. Our pen should be a lot deeper which will keep our guy at the end fresher and he was the best closet last year.

The big thing last night was JJ hitting well. His confidence struggled last year. A fast start is big for him. Langworthy, India, JJ, Maldonado, Dalton, McConnell, Horvath, etc. our line up is a lot better and deeper than last year. I’m excited about the season.

Look forward to Florida v Arkansas. Great baseball is fun to watch. That will be great baseball. It’d also be awesome to be part of another all SEC final!
