I’ve got a bottle of Little Book that I plan on getting into tonight. I’ll be toasting myself since the wife is sick as a dog.

Did you pay for the DNA analysis stuff or was that free?

I killed a lot of Four Roses and brain cells watching the Dawgs win versus Oklahoma. Fortunately, I bought a 1.75 bottle.

Four Roses small batch is what got me into bourbon. I need to add a bottle to my collection.

    Re: Bourbon

Because of gifts I like Blanton's and Woodford Reserve.

This Chrstmas I received a bottle of single malt Irish Whiskey called Sexton, made by Bushmills in Antrim.

Be forewarned, this Sexton is packaged in a neat hexagon-shaped bottle but, you'll need a bartender's spout for it to pour correctly due to the short, stubby neck.

And I've been very cheap as a youngster, crossing over into Mexico and buying a gallon of Fighting Cock for $5 way back when in the mid-'80s.

Evan Williams does the trick when I make up a batch of my Bailey's Irish Cream-knockoff to give to friends and family.
