Pruitt has hired former Bama O-lineman and current Colorado State OC as the O-line coach at UT.

UT gave Pruitt one of the highest budgets in the nation for hiring assistants. $5 million+ to start.

Re: It looks like Jeremy Pruitt is Tennessee's new head coach

One of the primary attributes that attracted Tennessee to Jeremy Pruitt was his ability to recruit. Over the years, Pruitt has managed to land an all-star list of commitments for Alabama, Georgia and Florida State from the likes of RB Derrick Henry, RB T.J. Yeldon, DB Jalen Ramsey, LB Dylan Moses, DE Lorenzo Carter, LB Mack Wilson, LB Reggie Ragland, LB Roquan Smith, LB Ryan Anderson, LB C.J. Mosley and OL Alphonse Taylor.

He is an awesome recruiter and a helluva defensive coach. I could be outstanding as a HC or he might have some significant difficulty dealing with the administration and boosters at UT. It will be interesting.

I feel same as DiD. Pruitt is one of the best recruiters in CFB and a fantastic DC, but his temperment may not be great for a HC. He's a fiery, competitive guy which are positives but he may burn out quickly.

UT made a good hire in the sense that Pruitt won't take any **** from Haslam or any booster. Maybe not even Fulmer lol

I can see him and Fulmer not getting along at all.

Pruitt is a complete hot head. Great recruiter though.

The next two years sure will be fun to watch. If he can keep his composure for that long, then Pruitt will make a good HC.
