Virginia Governors Race: Gillespie vs Northam

Most polls have democrat Northam leading by 3 to 6 points over republican Gillespie going into tomorrow's election for the Virginia governors race. The majority of those polls are produced by liberal news outlets.

Will the silent majority again trash the polls and elect Gillespie? I think probably so. Repulicans tend to mislead pollsters about their voting choice.

I predict a close win for Gillespie.

Well Northam hasn't run a very good campaign from what I read, so you could be right Doc.

From what I read last November, the polls were wrong because they didn't adequately represent the rural vote. Don't know if true, just what I read.

Most of the 2016 polls were in the margin of error...

Silent majority? Silent? I don't think that word means what you think it means.

No matter which side wins, it will be overblown and overanalyzed.

Gillispee has had so many attack ads full of lies it's hilarious.

This dude is a former Wall Street lobbyist for big Banks and Enron, and the dummies from my area believe he gives two ****s about rural VA.

Northam is much better candidate overall but ran a bad campaign and will prob lose when he should win.

Exactly. That was the case with presidential polls. We will see if that is the case in Virginia. Being within the Margin of error is irrelevant. Who the poll had projected to win is all that matters. If you made a political seat bet on the London books, don't bother asking for your money back by telling them you were within the margin of error of the polls even though your candidate lost.

What has killed Northam IMO was his racist attack ad with the guy in the black truck flying a rebel flag chasing the non-white children around town. I mean how stupid can someone be? Major backfire. Major.

The statement was that that ad was sponsored by a latino group supporting Northam. "Gee thanks" says Northam to his latino supporters. "Bunch of dopes."
