I see a lot of grumblings about Mizzou; I think he got it about right... and they are going to be a lot better than yall expect.

Wow -- you serious about #14? We have a QB with tools & experience and a lot of starters returning.

My thoughts exactly. I'll not be surprised to see Mizzou in the race for the East to the end. They have won the East two of their five years in the conference. That's a 40% clip. Not a bad bet.

Your defense isn't very good. Neither is your run game. JMHO.

The defense last year was worse than "isn't very good" -- it was deplorable!! New D Coordinator + (complicated) New System -- it was terrible.

I can't imagine it will be that bad again; it wasn't personnel issues as much as it was learning a new system issues.

I think what helps Mizzou is their schedule is very favorable. Could start 3-1. UK is a toss up game, then a likely L at UGA. Next two are UConn and Idaho, which are good chances for W's. They might not get past UF or Tennessee, but Vandy is a W, and the Tigers played us very tight last year. End of the year rivalry games are tough.

Yes, its getting close to the time of year where we can start bashing each other's teams again instead of our politics!

I seriously think UK should be miles ahead of Mizzou, if the only thing you are going to focus on is how good they look going into the season. We pretty much return our entire team, a team that was on pace towards the end of the season to be a top 25 team and was in the hunt for the division title until the end.

I feel like this is the season UK puts together a complete season. I might be proven wrong first game out, but I think 9 wins is entirely possible this season and as of right now, I don't see any way imaginable that Mizzou wins that game.
