While that is true, the last recession was so so bad that the recovery has been slower than a normal recovery with more cautious investment. The foundation built is more solid than the one built on a the tech boom or particularly the housing boom.then how about the simple fact that recessions occur ever ~ 7-8 years?
this is why we had massive QE, when we went into the housing crash the fed had nearly exhausted their ability to kickstart the economy through lowering interest rates.Or... how about the Fed teetering on raising rates for years -- they HAVE to raise them or they are screwed for next recession -- but each time we thought it was going to happen the markets went into meltdown mode?
