It really is a toss up. Itnseems to affect primary speed guys harder, like Jamaal Charles, while those that are modem powerful like Peterson came back to their best, maybe even better.

Chubb def has wheels, but he also is a tough runner that doesn't go down at first contact. Scarborough had a lot of leg injuries but seem to come back at highest gear until getting reinjured.

Who will be Arks receiving corp this season?
"Alabama's cornerbacks don't impress me one bit. They're overrated. Real men don't play zone defense and we'll show them a thing or two come January 1."

Cornelius is back. I suspect him and the two jucos we recruited will be the top three receivers. We have recruited the position well though. Jordan Jones, LaMichael Pettway, and Deon Stewart are younger guys who should also play. I think Bama recruited all of them in fact. They were heavily recruited.

Who will be the TE? Arkansas uses TEs very well, so they will need someone to step up and make plays.

Bama returns Ridley, but there's a ton of talent that should shine. Cam Sims, Trevon Diggs, Kief, Foster if he stays, plus frosh like Jeudy. At TE, you'll prob see Miller Forristall, with 4* frosh Major Tennison maybe making an impact.

We return three or four guys who played some at TE last season. We also signed a highly regarded juco TE. We should have a good offense.

It is the defense that everybody is worried about. They were horrible last season. Everybody is just hoping to be pleasantly surprised on that side of the ball. They are switching to the 3-4.

That switch can be brutal, kids have tonlearn entirely new assignments and I don't know if Ark has the type of players needed already on roster to fill those positions. Who would play the NT? And the ILBs have a lot more assignments in a 3-4. You're right the D def struggled. Maybe the switch can make them improve a bit but it def won't be easy.

Yeah, I am pretty leery about the upcoming season for that reason. I am definitely not a football expert though. I am just a casual fan. Paul Rhoads did this at Iowa State and it was a total disaster. Maybe he can get it to work somewhat here though. We should have better talent than they did.

I find this list interesting for the LSU players. Both players listed are not practicing in spring football practice. Arden Key is on personal leave until the summer. And Darrius Guice has an injured ankle.

Frank Ragnow getting really high regards. I hope he holds up to the expectation. If he can, Arkansas can be very solid. If you notice in this poll, Arkansas has 3 players in the top 14 and then note their positions>>> Center - QB - Running back. Straight up the gut. That should provide for good balance going left and right.
