    Like clockwork.

Alabama was eligible for the Death Penalty and avoided it.

True, the NCAA Enforcement Division would have loved to have ended Alabama's football tradition with the death penalty, and did all they could to hurt the program. But despite their desires, they still could not charge Alabama with a loss of institutional control. A rogue football booster does not equal the concealing of a child molester, does it?

I'm still in disbelief the NCAA came back and reduced the punishment on ped st. The fact that POS Franklin and those sick f2cks won a B1G title before Harbaugh makes me want to puke

What seems obvious (at this point) is that NCAA has antiquated rules for the amount of money in CFB; if NCAA isn't careful, they will be legitimate only to Div2 and below. And maybe that is what needs to happen. Consider this:

    - Div. 1 athletes have sued (and won) for the right to unionize for pay/benefits
    - In 2015, 22 CFB teams had profits (estimated) higher than the Atlanta Falcons
    - 11 of those 22 CFB teams were in SEC
    https://www.ucribs.com/blog-post/nca...5-infographic/

With that in mind, what stops Division 1 CFB (... or even the SEC) for telling NCAA to piss off and becoming "NFL-U"??
