The winds of change are blowing over Death Valley in Baton Rouge. The days of an unimaginative and boring offense are gone. If Matt Canada can put up great offensive numbers at Pittsburg and beat Clemson then he can do the same at LSU.
Having gifted and talented football players at LSU has not been a problem with LSU's recruiting. Good offensive plans and good quarterback play have been a problem.
LSU signed 2 highly rated quarterbacks, Myles Brennan and Lowell Narcisse. Myles Brennan is a pro style QB and Lowell Narcisse is a dual threat QB. Lowell has blown out both his knees in the last 2 years of his high school play. He's ready to go but one has to wonder about those injuries going forward.
In order for LSU to have any upward mobility in the SEC West, the offense must improve the offensive attack and must have better QB play. LSU is going to run the football well but must also make plays in the passing attack.
Canada has said that the past is past and that the slate is clean. Etling is not guaranteed a starting position as QB going into the spring game.
Will Myles Brennan be the QB of LSU's future? Will he be the one that LSU fans have been begging for?
