So happy if true. I do believe he got a bit of a raw deal and should've probably been fired after last season.

Been ashamed to even wear my Braves hat even though I hardly watch baseball, pro that is, until the postseason. Need to get me one of those '47 Brand Fireflies hats. They look sweet.

This year wasn't his fault but some of his faults did come in play with a few blown games they had a chance to win.

Agree with JRS, can't blame Fredi for not winning w this pathetic roster, but this is for all the screw ups he had when the Braves actually were competitive. A season overdue. Someone else should have been given a shot before last season and the ensuing firesale.
"Alabama's cornerbacks don't impress me one bit. They're overrated. Real men don't play zone defense and we'll show them a thing or two come January 1."

Miami WR Lamar Thomas, the weeks before the 1993 Sugar Bowl national title game.

Exactly. If I recall correctly, the team traded away most, if not all, star players last season. How can ANYONE think any team can win utilizing that strategy?

Every one except Freeman. Both Upton's, Heyward, Simmons, Kimbrel, basically the entire offense and the two best defenders in baseball.
