I also saw the girl that beat Rousey tapped out in her first defense. I'll bet that makes Ronda feel great about the loss.
It was similar to the Conor fight. Meisha was getting her ass kicked but in the last round got a nice takedown and went to work and choked her out. Thankfully those last 2 fights were great because the rest of them sucked.

Yeah the card was bad besides the last 2. I am glad Miesha won, even though I like Holly.

    Wut

Conor won the first round, but never had Nate in any real trouble. Compared to round two, when Nate rocked him standing, made him panic shoot for a TD, get smashed from mount and then choked out with ease? I'd say Nate kicked his ass pretty good, he landed the most significant strikes of the fight and then finished him.

And the difference is Holm won three rounds (Tate won round two easily), Conor won one round and got choked out in the second.

Holm could have ran away and coasted for the W but she tried to engage and got her weakness exposed. Its a mess at WBW, Holm is a bad matchup for Rousey, Tate has lost to Rousey more than once but Tate is a tough matchup for Holm with her double leg TDs, compared to Rouseys judo which Holm defends well.

The question now is what does Dana White do about UFC 200? Conor lost, Ronda is not coming back that quick, and Bones is fighting on 197.

    Re: Ufc 196

Diaz bleeds in every fight, I bet he bleeds doing calisthenics lol. No doubt McG landed some good shots early, but he never had Nate hurt or in any real trouble, compared to Diaz wobbling McG and forcing him to grapple wit Nate, one of the most dangerous grapplers below 185 pounds.

    http://fightland.vice.com/blog/death...t-to-nate-diaz

Pretty good breakdown of how Nate pulled off the upset.

And yes I am a little defensive about this lol, the McG fans on Sherdog are UNBEARABLE, well were, and it made me root for him to lose. He is an exciting fighter with KO power, but his arrogance is totally off putting. At least Anderson Silva and Jon Jones won titles and beat tons of elite fighters before they came off as cocky as Conor.

And I hate the fact that people believe Conor went up two weight classes and fought a huge WW, its just not true. He was training to fight at 155, his natural weight class (look at him post weight cut before he can rehydrate, he looks like death) and weighed one pound less than Nate, who was on vacation before he got the call. Diaz is def taller and used his reach very well, but so did Conor at FW where he had absurd reach/weight advantages. He hasn't defended the FW title once, and just lost to a top 10 LW who got soundly beaten by the guy Conor was supposed to fight, RDA. I know believe RDA would handle Conor, he has more power than Nate and is a better wrestler. Some actually tried to convince me that McG was one of the GOATs already, I mean **** let the man attempt to defend his ntitle once before we put him up there with the GSPs, Silvas, and Fedor's of the sport.

Conor acts so cocky to sell fights man. He actually seems like a nice dude overall. And he did just beat a man in Aldo who had not lost a fight in 10 years, and he beat him in 13 seconds.

Was just gonna post this. Listen to him AFTER fights, including fights he wins. He is extremely respectful of the other guy and honest. He gets a cut of PPV. So he runs his mouth to get as many fans as possible to drop $60. It's all a WWE-style front.

Any fight with Robbie Lawler is always a good one. Maybe a superfight against GSP is he wants to come back?

    Conor vs Edgar
    Conor vs Aldo
    A middleweight title fight

    There are plenty of options.
