    Santino announces in-ring retirment

According to several live reports, one from reader Matt Harris, during tonight's WWE live event in Toronto, Ontario, WWE superstar Santino Marella got on the mic and announced to the live crowd that he had suffered his third neck injury, and his in-ring career is over.

Marella, an Ontario native, went on to say he never had the chance to be introduced from Canada, since his character is billed from Italy.

Santino has revealed in recent interviews that he feels his in-ring career is winding down, and it appears this latest injury has forced him to make the decision to hang up the boots. Santino did note during tonight's live event that he intends to remain with WWE, and he will likely be used in an on-air, non-wrestling capacity.
Sucks for him. I always liked his comedy act. I still remember him getting pulled out of the crowd and beating Umaga for the IC belt.

Santino is one of the greatest entertainers the WWE has ever had. Very few can rival his comedic relief. Here is my favorite Santino moment.

My fave memory of him (or her I guess) is the Ms. WrestleMania stuff. lol
KT is so knowelegable about basketball, he can back his **** up. He can rip a program 6 ways to Sunday, yet turn around in the next breath and explain why that same program should/could/will be/is a great program.

I like and respect kentubby, he does know his stuff when it concerns college basketball.

This board would be boring if it wasn't for Kentubby's posts and the responses he gets.

Kentubby is one of my favorite posters on this board. Sure he has some personal views, but this board would be so if everyone agreed all the time that it wouldn't be worth going to. I'd challenge you to find another poster on this board that knows as much about EVERY SEC team as he does. He knows more about lowly South Carolina and our recruiting then alot of our own fans do. It would be a sad day for the basketball forum if he ever left.

Damn...and I'm still not over Edge being gone. I hope Santino does commentary or something..he's far too entertaining to not be on TV.
