So Jeremy Pruitt isn't staying with the team until after the playoffs? The last time your DC was hired away he had the courtesy to coach the team through the NC game.

Even if he does stay, he will be focused on recruiting and staffing for the Viles.

You could not be more wrong.

Haslam would have NEVER let someone as independent as Pruitt come in. The Ergen camp won this round.

Would have rather had Venables, but wish in one hand and ...

Sounds like solid hire, but UT fans don't get excited about Saban coaches.

Perhaps the atmosphere in Obnoxiousville does not agree with Coach Saban's proteges?

Y'all won the NC with Kirby burning the candle at both ends. Perhaps Pruitt can't handle it?

Does Pruitt have the temperament to go on the rubber chicken tour and answer inane questions?

When I think of Pruitt, I think of fire and brimstone. Not bad in a DC, just not sure if he has the fuzzy bunny side to him also.

He is one darn good defensive coach.
He has all the virtues I dislike and none of the vices I admire.

He looks like Smart on steroids on the sideline. I'll never forget when we were dropping 52 on Spurdog and the subs let them score at the end of the game. He went ballistic.
