I know they have no conference tourney, but Princeton lost tonight to drop to 9-3 in conference play and Harvard won to go to 10-3....So if Princeton wins tomorrow their will be a 1-game playoff for the automatic bid

Very interesting. This would be great for the Ivy League, IMO. Having 2 schools duke it out for a right to play in the dance. Maybe all those kids will actually go to the game and stop studying for 3 hours.

I'm watching the A-Sun now. Florida Gulf Coast is going to make it to the final against Mercer. Both teams have a big league win this year (FGCU over Miami and Mercer over Bama). This is the matchup everybody wanted to see in the final.
KT is so knowelegable about basketball, he can back his **** up. He can rip a program 6 ways to Sunday, yet turn around in the next breath and explain why that same program should/could/will be/is a great program.

This board would be boring if it wasn't for Kentubby's posts and the responses he gets.

Kentubby is one of my favorite posters on this board. Sure he has some personal views, but this board would be so if everyone agreed all the time that it wouldn't be worth going to. I'd challenge you to find another poster on this board that knows as much about EVERY SEC team as he does. He knows more about lowly South Carolina and our recruiting then alot of our own fans do. It would be a sad day for the basketball forum if he ever left.

Wow, what an ending to the UIC-Green Bay game in the Horizon. UIC is fouled with 7 secs left, hits both...GB comes back, gets a little dribble penetration and kick out and bury a 3 with 1.8 secs left to win

Cinderella in the WCC? LMU (who had lost 14 straight games and was 1-15 in WCC play) has won 3 straight to make the Semifinals of the WCC tourney. They have beaten Portland, San Francisco, and Santa Clara. Next they get the #1 team in Gonzaga....Can they keep it up?

Like the A-Sun, we're getting the final we wanted to see in the OVC between Murray and Belmont, which house the two co-OVC Players of the Year. It's not just about Canaan and Clark though. Kerron Johnson and Ed Daniel are quite incredible second fiddles themselves. This is a potential bid thief here in Murray State should they win. Even if Belmont does not get an at large berth, their resume will be considered with everybody else's that's right there on the fault line.

Obviously, we're dominant in the OVC (winning our last five finals), but this could be the toughest test for us. I wish that UK would schedule MSU, but Murray has got to realize what level they are on.

Duke-slayer Lehigh will indeed be with CJ McCollum. IT was thought he would be ready for the conference tourney, but now he won't be. They're playing Lafayette, who UK fans got a good look at earlier this year. That will be a well-played game.

No, it's not a surprise, but that kind of run of excellence is incredible regardless. Just because excellence is expected doesn't mean we shouldn't acknowledge it when it comes to fruition. I've said it all year long that I think Louisville is the best team in the country, and honestly if UK or Minnesota doesn't win the title (or one of my other teams that I like), I hope Louisville does.
