for many reasons its unfortunate Noel got hurt but UK was getting better and developing as a team than that shakes things up late. didnt realize Polson was hurt. those two being the best hustle players can lead by example. such a tough situation.

Re: Kentucky @ Georgia Game Thread

Thanks, but I'm done blaming Noel's injury for this season. Sure, the timing was bad so close to March. But, injuries are part of the game. We have basically 7 guys that we play. Florida has dealt with injuries that weren't as serious but you guys have a roster full of 13 players. We should be using more of our schollys if nothing else. But, beyond that we have talent. To me we have the best basketball players in the league (the guys that will make the most money playing this game for a living), there's no excuse for this. No excuse for no offense being run. No excuse for not idea of what we're doing defensively. Not excuse for stepping out of bounds or turning the ball over when people pressure us. Sure, Noel would have helped and we were back to being ranked when he went down, but they don't put astericked by season's just because you lost the best player in the country. It is what it is.
KT is so knowelegable about basketball, he can back his **** up. He can rip a program 6 ways to Sunday, yet turn around in the next breath and explain why that same program should/could/will be/is a great program.

I like and respect kentubby, he does know his stuff when it concerns college basketball.

This board would be boring if it wasn't for Kentubby's posts and the responses he gets.

Kentubby is one of my favorite posters on this board. Sure he has some personal views, but this board would be so if everyone agreed all the time that it wouldn't be worth going to. I'd challenge you to find another poster on this board that knows as much about EVERY SEC team as he does. He knows more about lowly South Carolina and our recruiting then alot of our own fans do. It would be a sad day for the basketball forum if he ever left.

BTW, Polson's not hurt. I was just saying along with Noel, he's the only guy that consistently brings it every night no matter the conditions. Glad he'll be back next year.

True, but this same UK team just beat MSU by like 20, so that would lead me to think UGA has gotten a little better since then.

Sure, but UK is making people look good these days. MSU notwistanding. How did Arkansas look against Mizzou after we made them look like Indiana?

Report on Hawkins and Bolden... They just had a hell of a battle in an OT. I'd give them both scholarships.
