How good is Saban? So good SECF won't allow me to represent every championship in the Saban era using pictures in my sig.
What’s the simplest sentence to describe the difference between Chinese law and US law? Someone replied as follows: Chinese law.txt; US law.exe.

Ok, I found something here. Says there needs to be at least three seconds. I guess this is sort of like in the NBA where they require a certain amount of time to be able to inbound a ball ad shoot.
I don't really get it. In basketball if the clock runs out and you still have the ball in your hands the game is over. But in football that's not the case, you can still run a play with 4 seconds left and the game is not over until the play is over.
I went back and watched a replay of last seasons Michigan vs Northwestern game. Devin Gardner completed a hail mary that put Michigan in field goal range in which Michigan tied it up and ended up winning in OT. When the ball was caught, they were out of timeouts and had to run 60 yards to spike the ball to bring on the FG unit. Time on the clock? 7 seconds.
So it would not have been affected, but I still wanted to re live the moment.....![]()
I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE this, and I suspect most of the older and more knowledgeable fans will hate it too. Im talking about the spike rule. A football game, like a basketball game, is never over until the end. The NBA does not have official rules about how much time you must have to get a shot off, but they know what's close and can always review. Does no one remember what Derek Fisher did to the Spurs in 04? He won a playoff game in less than 1 second. I hate the fact that the NCAA is now saying that you cant win a game in four seconds, which is BS. I bet we can list 50 important games that came down to the last five seconds.
Off top of my head, would this have affected UGA in the SECCG this year? I dont remember exactly the time, but would the game have ended regardless of if Conley could have fell quicker?
"Alabama's cornerbacks don't impress me one bit. They're overrated. Real men don't play zone defense and we'll show them a thing or two come January 1."
Miami WR Lamar Thomas, the weeks before the 1993 Sugar Bowl national title game.
George Teague proceeds to embarrass Thomas in one of the most memorable (non)plays in CFB history.
You don't have real life friends.
We have already started to practice these new rules here at UTEP and it is not going so well...this implementation is not fun, especially when you are trying to get to understand and change how they have always played

That sounds like a rule change driven by time constraints.![]()
