The Good: O-line, D-Line, Mike Gilly
    The Bad: another slow start
The Ugly: Secondary has some issues that would have killed us against a better QB

    Bad: where does one begin
Ugly: we can't do **** on either side of the ball too many times!!

the Good- defensive effort from start to finish, the offensive line, the blocking on the perimeter, Mike Gillislee, Christy's booming punts, the strength and toughness on both sides of the ball, winning the turnover battle, Matt Elam's play to turn a huge gain into a turnover, beating a top 5 team

the Bad- the penalty on Bostic, the blown coverage on the 56 yard completion before the stripped football, the blown coverage allowing a 3rd and 18 screen to go for a first down, the fumble by Hammond

the Ugly- the first half offense, the fumble by Driskel

The Good: Beat Auburn for the fourth time in the last five seasons.

The Bad: Another key contributor was injured.

The Ugly: We are 2-4 after being ranked in the top ten in the preseason.

Arkansas making their next coaching hire will tell me a lot. There is still a lot of talent there. A couple of those losses were more about coaching than talent and a good hire will have plenty to work with in a quick turnaround.

I think our talent is far less than you give us credit for. At least defensively. We've suffered more injuries this season than I can remember in a long time, I guess since 2000 when we lost 17 starters during the season, 11 to ACL tears. It hurts to lose Highsmith who was on track for an all SEC type season despite our record.

Arkansas probably would have more of a curve in building the defense but I just meant in turning around and being a competitor for the west again.

okay, I get that. usually its easier on a defense to improve with a new coach than it is offensively especially if the offensive philosophy is radically different.

Re: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly of Your Team from Week 6

The Good: A lot of eyes were opened. Richt "jumped the shark" and I think the fans are all starting to agree on the course of action needed...

The Bad: The offense. Where was Gurshall? Where was the passing game? USC doesn't have a great secondary, but they had our guys shut down and I refuse to believe that Michael Bennett is that much of a difference maker out there.

The Ugly: The defense. Seriously, Grantham? What happened, or was last year just smoke and mirrors? It seems like all our defenders completely forgot how to play in the offseason. I cannot understand how you bring a top 5 defense back and it look like this. What was Jarvis doing jumping offsides on 4th, btw?
