Two scores is close no matter how you look at it. If state is smart they'll continue to run the ball. Their qb is not going to win alot of games tossing it for them.

Losing this season I can understand attendance would be down. But over the past several, what is the reasoning? Joke Phillips? Retirement of Rich Brooks? Program taking a step back from going to a bowl game every season to not winning as much?

The stands were full up until after the loss to Louisville last year when the team was almost as miserable to watch as this year.

Joker, plain and simple. WVU fan mentioned the loss to UL last year (who had just lost to FIU) and he's pretty much right. Then we lost by 50 to S. Carolina and it was all downhill from there. Attendance for UL last year was about 65,000 -- down from the 70,000 we were drawing in 07-08, but still not bad or embarrassing.

Not going to win a lot of games? He's about to be 6-0. Russell is listed first and Bray is 2nd. Not much difference there bro. I admire your love of your team and confidence, but damn dude, rank homerism is not a good look on you.

I think Russell is the better leader and Bray is a punk. State's secondary is going to eat Bray's lunch...er dinner.

Damn. No respect at all for Kentucky football. Even this thread gets hijacked by Mississippi State and Tennessee...

I feel like Rodney Dangerfield here. No respect I tell ya!

I'll side with Brumm (still can't get used to Gr8ness) and WVU. The crowds were still high up until a point last year when people started to realize what we were getting on a weekly basis. Rich Brooks took a probation team and got it into the top of the country in attendance per capacity. That "buzz" hung on for a while longer, but eventually people just couldn't justify the price to watch Joker Ball.

I know one game our qb won for us by tossing it around.

I was there in 2007 when Kentucky beat #1 LSU. The place was rocking.

Here's a shot from the SC game that I hadn't seen previously. Saw it on a friend's twitter
