Connor Shaw is much better than he was when he began his career and that falls on Spurrier and Shaw. He has really advanced as a QB and makes USC VERY tough to stop on offense with those speedster WRs and Lattimore.
LSU is a tougher matchup for USC IMO, their DBs are more physical and bigger and are less likely to allow those huge plays with Eric Reid down back. But USC has a very good shot at winning at LSU and thats not something I figured going into the season.

You must not have watched UGA much this year. Most teams have had success running the ball. With the extraordinary talent of Lattimore, I was not surprised by that. I was more surprised with the success of the downfield passing game by South Carolina.I never figured that USC could run like that all night long
