I don't think Mizzou loses as bad as everyone thinks. Pinkel and Nick Saban were teammates for two seasons at Kent State. Saban recommended Pinkel for the Toledo head coaching job when he left for the Browns. They're friends and Pinkel has spoke pretty often about his respect for Saban. I don't think this is the game that Bama goes out to embarrass another team.
