Another "entitled" brat gets canned.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) Clemson quarterback Chad Kelly was dismissed from the team Monday, two days after he was benched for the second half of the spring game for disagreeing with coaches over whether to go for it on fourth down.

Kelly was kicked off the team for conduct detrimental to the program, coach Dabo Swinney said in a statement.

"He has had a pattern of behavior that is not consistent with the values of our program," Swinney said, "I hope he will mature and grow from this and become the man and player I know he can be. I wish him nothing but the best in the future academically and athletically."

Kelly is the nephew of Buffalo Bills star Jim Kelly. The sophomore was expected to compete with senior Cole Stoudt and freshman Deshaun Watson to replace Tajh Boyd behind center this fall.

Kelly didn't come to Clemson quietly. At 6-foot-1 and 210 pounds, he was a highly sought recruit out of Buffalo, N.Y., choosing the Tigers over Alabama, Florida State, Michigan State and Purdue.

He taunted Stoudt, who has been a backup to Boyd all three years, on Twitter before he arrived, writing that "your on the bench for a reason! And i come soon! Just letting you know."

Kelly tore his ACL in the 2013 Clemson spring game, but came back to appear in five games in the fall. He completed 10 of 17 passes for 58 yards and ran 16 times for 117 yards, including a 38-yard touchdown run against Virginia.

Kelly threw two interceptions in last weekend's spring game, completing 10 of his 18 passed for 118 yards before being benched.

I'm surprised Dabo didn't take him out to the pasture and baptize him.

Stoudt should come back and say, boy now you're back on the bench.

I just hope that this helps Georgia win. That's all I care about.

Good for Dabo, nothing drives me crazier than having to deal with spoiled, entitled, arrogant little shiit kids that haven't accomplished jack **** but believe they are something special.

You usually hate my guts because I'm so pessimist so I'm curious what makes you say that?

I don't think he was going to start for them anyway.

He wasn't. I was sure hoping he was though.

I don't think you will have trouble beating Clemson no matter who is playing QB.

Well I wanted to watch us pound him a couple of times with all of his swag comments.

If he is healthy, any chance Watson is not the starting QB when the season starts?

We should win pretty easily either way, Clemson lost way too much. We would have preferred Kelly to be the starter instead of Stoudt, but it probably would have been Stoudt even if Kelly was on the team.

Maybe in Game 2. I would question the wisdom of putting a true freshman in his first college game in Sanford when he would likely be amped up anyway with us being his "hometown team". Especially with an OL that is rebuilding and has suspensions in that game.

I dont know about an easy win. They still have talent on that team and most of the DL is back....the same DL we could really block too much last year.

I think Georgia will definitely win but it won't be easy. Clemson's front 4 will be tough to block.

For UGA, Ga. State's DL is tough to block.

They lost 2 of their 3 best LBs and their top CB. That DL is literally all they return and a key guy in Crawford is suspended for the game. Also, are you guys actually worried about their defense? The one we put 35 points on last year with Gurley injured and not playing for a portion of the game? Offense wasn't why we lost last year and I don't expect it to be much issue this year, either. Especially compared to what they lost on O.

Ummmmm.... We have JJ who will shatter every passing record in the Auburn record book. Unfortunately we are only going to have him for one year, but why on earth would we need a QB. He is the beat pure passer the SEC has seen in a long time. He is just what the NFL wants. He is 100% passer, but is athletic enough to avoid the rush and pick up a first down with his legs if everything else breaks down.
