CBP will coach the Cards again. He has a decent buyout with WKU which includes a guaranteed two year home and away schedule with whatever school hires him...

Love this hire because you can't write a better reality show for UL.

Yes, he's a good coach who will probably beat us next year. But, the ammunition it gives UK fans is priceless.

Pitino and Petrino: Morality U.

Louisville should go undefeated under Coach Petrino...

I'll be bold. I call it now, UK over UL on the gridiron this fall. Then Petrino will never hear the end of it. It'll be as bad as another motorcycle fall. Good riddance!

Not sure how true it is, but apparently Gene Chizik has reached out to Petrino about the DC position.

Joe Schad reporting that Garrick McGee is stepping down at UAB to join Petrino as OC at Louisville.

How crappy must it be to a UAB person. You lose your HC to a non-elite school for a coordinator job. They have only 3 winning seasons in 18 years as a FBS school and none since 2004 under Watson brown

1. Honesty
2. Treat women with respect
3. No drugs
4. No stealing
5. No guns

Those were the 5 things Strong listed that he expected from his players and it was all over the facility. I wonder if this stays or goes?

Who knows....apparently though it was an 8 to 9 hour interview process with Petrino. AD Jurich said he also had to be convinced by Bobby's wife Becky.

Yeah Im sure. He is taking a significant chance by hiring him back based on everything in his past, especially when other candidates were out there and would not of had the baggage

Wow. I called it though. Good coach huge risk especially after he left you once. Sometimes I guess the Devil you know is safer than the one you dont know

Maybe BP will try an ATV instead. Much more difficult for an old man to lose his balance with that.

On a more serious note, I'm intrigued BP returns to Louisville, given the success he had there. I think it's a good hire. He should be able to recruit well even with U of L moving to the ACC this fall. It will be interesting to see how they fare, given Bridgewater is going to the NFL.

OMG this is LOL! This AND the Kiffin to Bama in the last few days? The scum of CFB has floated to the top - just like at the Lane Kiffin Memorial Water Treatment Plant in Knoxville.

Is it time for Houston Nutt at UAB?

He was interested but UAB declined to interview him. I would have been OK with him. Known interviewees are Jim Grobe (Ex Wake Forest), Eddie Gran (OC Cincy), Bill Clark (Jax State), Brian Jenkins (Bethune-Cookman), and Chris Scelfo (Falcons TE and ex Tulane). Please God just no Scelfo.

He is. I'm interested to see where he ends up, if he decides to take a head coaching position.
