I might be the only person on here interested in or watching this game, but I could not be more exited for it. Will be Tulane's last game in the Superdome and their first bowl game since 2002. Should be a good game.

I'm watching this game as well. UL-Lafayette is playing in the New Orleans Bowl for the 3rd straight year and they do not look like they have a problem with it. Some teams (Oregon) don't want to play in the same bowl game year after year, but UL-Lafayette is intense. Great to see.

Not even close to over yet. Nick Montana is pulled and Devin Powell shows off his big arm and Tulane is now only down 21-14.

I thought we were cooked down 21-0. This offense is not built to come back. Huge props for the two bombs by Powell though.

Montana has been pretty disappointing this season. He didn't have the highest of expectations coming into the season, but he hasn't even lived up to that. Powell isn't all that great either, but he is the hot hand right now so you gotta ride him.

Montana played awful this game. Tulane had to take him out or they would still be down 21-0 right now.

How did Nick Montana end up at Tulane anyway?

Because he's not very good and Tulane had a horrible enough QB situation for him to be able to start.

Tulane's offense is absolutely abysmal. We have good skill players, but the QB and o-line play are just killing us. It's a miracle we even have 21 in this game.

He was highly recruited in high school. I guess that he just didn't pan out.

Yeah, he lost his starting spot at Wash, transferred to JUCO, then Tulane was the best offer he got to get back into D1. He has been a pretty massive bust.

I never really understood why Tulane thought leaving the SEC was a good move.

I've never understood why SEC fans dwell on it so much.

That was a great atmosphere... never thought fans of both of those teams could fill up the Super Dome.

There were some great rivalry games with the Green Wave, and old Tulane Stadium used to be one of the largest stadiums in the SEC.
