As weird as it sounds, I agree with the article (http://www.miamiherald.com/2013/02/21/3244225/greg-cote-ncaas-buffoonery-turns.html). I hate Miami and all that it stood for in the 80's and through the early 2000's. But they are one team and don't affect my team that much. The NCAA however, affects everyone, and if this doesn't show what a sham NCAA enforcement has become, then nothing will.

The NCAA corrupted, embarrassed and now playing the obstinate bully has managed to do the seemingly impossible: It has cast the University of Miami as the sympathetic victim. The side you root for. It has left even longtime UM detractors little choice but to see the judge and jury here as dirtier than the accused.

The NCAA jacked this one up. What's worse is that they jacked it up and are still moving forward with the investigation. It's sick.

Yeah I agree with you guys. Totally mishandled situation. It's a shame the NCAA has to sink down to this level. I also think they incorrectly handled the Ohio State scandal. OSU self-imposed penalties on itself, but they should have performed a more thorough investigation. Maybe when PSU came along the NCAA would have had a better method on dealing with these situations....
