I have no idea who will win. I see a Florida State blowout, but then I can see NIU pulling out an upset. I'll go with FSU.

FWIW....it's halfway in 2nd qrtr and there is only 4 pts difference in score. Herbstreit will hopefully choke on his tongue when he starts talking.

Why are you trying to troll me in a Florida State - No. Illinois game thread?

Why are you trying to troll me in a Florida State - No. Illinois game thread?trolling?....hell this is "clean" compared to old days!! Maybe it's just that Florida high school football is taking a dive, that FSU, Miami(F the U) and UF are not so superior to keep boys in state.

NIU is proving that they have deserved to be here. I dont think Herbstreit was trying to throw NIU under the bus, but just about the system, but NIu still had to play with FSU and they have done it, especially when the offense was really struggling

FSU's so much bigger adn faster everywhere, I can't believe NIU are still in the game. I wouldn't be surprised tho to see FSU start making plays because they are just so head and shoulders above them in terms of athleticism.

Conditioning, size and athleticism advantages for FSU. NIU's starting to look tired.

I wish people would quit trying to set up these David beats Goliath matchups in bowl games

Amazing that EJ Manuel is only the second QB in history to win four straight bowl game. The first was the legendary Pat White.

I'm still really, really proud of our guys! I think they showed the country that the MAC needs to be given more consideration (same as Stanford's "respect" problem) and that kids from this itty-bitty conference, outweighed by an average of 50 lbs per player, can hang in there and make a "powerhouse" team work for the win. Disappointment reigns, but Barb City is proud today.

Work for the win?

Please deterp. Jimbo didn't have them coached up. FSU played like ****, and still won by 3 td's. NIU would have lost by 50ish against UF, LSU, Bama, ND, Oregon, etc.

Michigan/USC will end up being the better bowl game than the last 2 BCS bowls after tonight's game is over. Hell UGA/Nebraska is better than NIU/FSU and UF/L'ville too. The BCS games always seem to be jokes except for a couple of the games.
