Cool pic, a friend of mine who was dog sitting for me a few years ago took a picture of my golden retriever in the snow. It was a beautiful picture, I'll see if I can dig it up.

That's pretty cool -- there is a picture of Williams-Brice covered in snow (from a few years ago) floating around on the internet somewhere. Not nearly as much as that though.

Now, I am sure the Willamette Valley gets its share of snow every year. Maybe not as much as Detroit got one year(there is a Detroit OR, guys).

It was tweeted by our backup QB, Cody Vaz. More likely yesterday.

Snow is relatively rare in the Willamette Valley.

Dogs + snow = personification of joy. Love it.

Since everyone is posting their dogs playing in the snow, I thought I'd share mine too.

Well crap, I can't get them to post. How do I do this from my photo file in My Documents?

I'm not very tech savvy.

They're in my Photos folder on my computer, but I can't figure out how to post them.

Upload them to a photobucket account, then copy the IMG code.

Let's try this again.

I guess the photo is too big because it won't post from the Photobucket account.

You need to upload it to a site like photobucket and host it from there.

Alright people, I created a photobucket account and uploaded the photos there.

When I use the image icon in the posting box on SECF and paste the IMG code in it, all that shows in the feed is a little blue box that someone has to click to open the photo.

Does that mean I need to crop the photo? Is it too big?

You shouldn't be doubling up IMG codes, which to me is what it sounds like you're doing.

Should I just post the IMG directly into the reply box or should I do it through the image icon?

I've been doing it through the icon and getting the blue box. If I post it directly, it looks like a weblink.

Alright, I'm frustrated now.

I have three really good pics of my Swissys romping in the snow and I can't freakin' post the flippin' things.

Do you have a facebook?

Right click on any image on facebook, click "copy URL", and then paste the URL into your post with the img tags around it.

Great looking dog, DNM, but after reading through this thread I'm convinced he's smarter than his owner. ROFL

I like Corvallis, reminds me of Oxford in a way (small town revolving around a major university). I always pull for the Beavers anytime they encounter the Ducks, in anything.

Those are Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs. Also known as the "poor Swiss farmer's horse". They are good herding dogs and handle rugged mountain terrain better than horses.

They are show dogs and working dogs (weight pulling, drafting and hiking).

Org, the middle Swissy is from a breeder in Carson, WA, just across the Bridge of the Gods.

Ain't a whole lot of doubt about that, especially when it comes to tech stuff.
