Great college basketball game. Two turnovers (one on each team) in the final 1:30. Butler takes first lead with 16 seconds left.

Butler wins! Butler was down 11 late. Great comeback fueled by the putback of Andrew Smith. Purdue had a key missed front end in the final minute. Seems like so many guys miss in that situation in a close game.

Oh hey, look. Butler's back.

You can't count Butler out. They won't get an at-large bid, but they just find ways to win in must-win games. I think the Horizon will come down to Butler and Ohio.

Ohio is in the MAC, doggie

Woops.

Second try: the Horizon will come down to Butler and Cleveland State.

I wouldn't rule out Detroit in the Horizon if Eli Holman's head is on right (I.e. Not beating up other students or throwing plants). Also, a darkhorse could be Rob Jeter's Milwaukee team. They are pretty solid this year.

As for Butler. I love Stevens' coaching. Andrew Smith gives them legit BCS size. Khyle Marshall and Chrishawn Hopkins are both a year older as sophs. Nored gives them a sense of calm at the point and Jackson Aldridge is a future star. Butler has got to hit free throws tho. They will be in plenty close games as they won't overwhelm you, so they must get it together at the stripe.
