So Arizona State just beat Arizona in a double-overtime thriller (ASU blocked 2 extra points).
Here are the potential final PAC-10 standings.
#1 11-0 (8-0) Oregon
#2 11-1 (8-1) Stanford
Here is where it gets messy. I will assume that Washington beats Washington State, Oregon beats Oregon State, and USC beats UCLA.
#3 6-6 (5-4) Washington
#4 8-5 (5-4) USC
#5 5-7 (4-5) Oregon State
#6 6-6 (4-5) Arizona State
#7 7-5 (4-5) Arizona
#8 5-7 (3-6) California
#9 4-8 (2-7) UCLA
#10 2-9 (1-8) Washington State
Yes, Arizona, who was recently in the top 15 has lost 4 in a row, and would finish 7th in the PAC-10.
Arizona State will finish 6-6, but is not eligible for a bowl game because they beat two 1-AA teams.
6-6 Washington will finish 3rd in the conference and get the Alamo Bowl bid if they beat Washington State.
USC, of course, is ineligible to go to a bowl game, and will play their 13th regular season game when they face UCLA.
Stanford, the #4 team in the nation will not have beaten a ranked team after this weekend. Their best two wins are against two 7-5 teams (Arizona and ND).
