Who was better and why? OU had a running game, but Texas actually had a passing defense.

Thoughts?

This would be a more appropriate thread for Big12fanatics.com

Oh wait, that site went down the toilet. Carry on.

Shouldn't matter but whoever it is will prob. be good. Oregon St. churns out better runningbacks than most schools.

OU 2004 was an embarrassment for the ages. An argument can easily be made that UT is at least keeping the game with Bama close if not for the injury to Colt. There is no amount of spin you can put on '04 OU to make me think anything short of injuries to Leinart, White, and Bush, along with most of the WR corp of USC would keep that game close. They would have even gotten blown out in the Twilight Zone version of the game.

UT at least should have been in the game against Bama. OU had no business even being in the state of Arizona that night against USC.

Good thing, since the game was in South Florida. :D

LOL, maybe that was the problem? OU was as mixed up as me and chilling in Phoenix. That must've been Miami-Northwestern that USC played...

I got it mixed up with the BSU embarrassment. There have been so many by Oklahoma that they all start to run together.

I don't ever remember that site being created.

Texas 2009 would rail '04 Oklahoma. OU would go nowhere on offense.

Hell, 2004 Texas should have beaten 2004 Oklahoma if it wasn't for Greg Davis going retard mode with the play calling.
