Man has that guy fallen. Head coach in the NFL, to head coach at Virginia, to defensive coordinator at Georgia Tech. Next stop...special teams coach at Coastal Carolina.

Not sure if this is a good hire for Tech or not. He's a big name, but at 66 and with virtually no prospects of being a head coach again you've got to wonder if he's really going to put in the effort necessary to get Tech's defense where it needs to be.

Again, anything is better than Dave Wommack.
Reminds me when Goff scraped up the old Swamp Fox Marion Campbell. I guess it is easy to tell how that one worked out.

Well, after he turned down UT for the head coaching job, he had to get what he could find. :)

GT's defense was horrendous last year, so anyone would be an upgrade :rotf:
