Nebraska just intercepted Colt McCoy off of a tipped pass. Nebraska already in the red zone. Now if Nebraska (by whatever miracle) wins this game, would we see an Alabama vs. TCU national title game or Alabama vs. Cincinnati. This night might get crazy...

Also, if Clemson beats GT in the ACC Title game, Clemson will be in the Orange Bowl. The predictions were for GT vs. TCU in that game. They wouldn't put TCU in that game if Clemson wins the ACCCG because Clemson vs. TCU would be a rematch.

What would happen?

Texas is gonna destroy the huskers. Nebraska has an offense like... actually they don't even have an offense just a good defense.

UT by 20 and then on to the Horns and Tide showdown in Jan.

Nebraska's OC or QB or both are apparently the stupidest people in Texas tonight. You block a punt and have momentum against a team that severely outmatches you in every facet of the game including coaching and you throw the ball deep and get it picked off? What kind of ******** is that?

Qwality

Nebraska should be up by at least 14 maybe 21.

Blackshirts are pitchin a shutout so far

Texas doesn't look like they can hang with Bama...at all... (at least in this half).

Bama by 25 over Texas.

SECgamecock453
12-05-2009, 09:37 PM
Then again..this is college football and even we hung with Bama for 4 quarters. We were down 13-6 to Bama in the 4th quarter and we spotted 7 of those points to them on an EARLY EARLY pick 6 (within the first 1 min 30 seconds or so).

32 yards of offense in the 1st half... Huskers need to get it together. Longhorns eventually will hit for one or 2 big plays. Nebraska offense better have a come to Jesus meeting in that locker room and get it together for the second half.

I don't think that's possible. I've seen Nebraska play a couple of times this season and they look like this every time. It looks like a terrible high school offense to me.

Adding the second back on the clock? That was the right call, man. It sucks for Nebraska, I feel for them, but the clock guy ran the clock on that last play. There was clearly a second when his pass hit the ground out of bounds.

If Nebraska's kicker could keep the kick in bounds, Nebraska wins and mass BCS confusion ensues.

Yeah, I really think TCU deserves the shot, they appear to be the second best team in the nation that hasn't already played Bama. Texas is going to get run off the field against the Tide.

453 is dead on though, if that kicker keeps it in bounds NU wins. We UGA fans can relate.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but the clock doesn't officially stop until the ref throws his arms up in the air and starts waving for the clock to stop! You can be the judge on that...

And what about the 'horse collar'? :shake:

I don't know about the horse collar call that gave Texas 15 years. It's as so you can't even tackle a guy from behind anymore. I could only think of LSU when UT was walking around like zombies at the end of the game. I was hoping for BCS chaos, but as usual the powers that be got lucky and it all fell into to place for them. Now just don't make Boise and TCU play each other assuming smurf turffers get a BCS bowl.

Nebraska blew it. kicking the ball out of bounds was the worst thing that could have happened. the horse coller was a legit penalty too. guy was all up in his business on that tackle from behind. It's not a new rule, these guys should know better by now.

colt is one luck SOB though, if he floats that ball one more yard, that game was over.

Yeah, the horse collar was probably a stretch. I didn't see it happen but saw a couple of replays and it looked to me like he had the jersey, not the pads. I only saw a brief couple of replays, though.

The play should stop when the ball dies. I don't know what the rule says, but I assume that is how most people, and the replay official in this game, thought it was. Either way, Mack and Colt should both be catching heat for it. That was horrible clock management. Especially when they had a timeout.

Also, Alabama is going to destroy Texas. This might look like the '04 BCSNCG.

I don't know what game yall were watching but that horse collar was legit from what I saw. I knew it as soon as he went down there would be a penalty. It may be a ****ty rule but it is a rule. The kicker went from hero to goat in about 15 seconds.

I could'nt agree more, I think though the Nebraska coaching staff got caught watching the game more than coaching the game in the last 2 minutes.

On an incomplete pass the clock stops when the ball lands on the turf. The 1 second was correct.

Yeah, Pellini definitely has them on the right track. Too bad they lose Suh after this season, that guy is a beast! 7 TFL, 4.5 Sacks vs Texas.

Not unless they find an offense. If they can do that then yea they are but I've seen Nebraska play three or four times this year and I saw the same thing ****ty ****ty ****ty offense. It looked like a bad high school out there when they had the ball. If they can correct that problem then Nebraska may be back but if not then not a snowball's chance in hell in my opinion.

Suh is a Monster. He is the best defensive player in the nation. I think that Texas will struggle with Cody if they gave up 4.5 sacks to Suh.
