Don't know about State winning but I am willing to bet Florida is going to get State's best shot. Does anyone know the actual line...

MSU was out of the NCAAT picture as an at large even when they were second in the West IMO. A win here doesn't really put them back in the picture, but a loss for Florida could be devastating.

I want Florida to lose for Kentucky's sake, but I think a Florida loss, and they are ready for Kentucky on Saturday.

Ktubby....I am pretty sure GatorFan was talking about State hurting Florida's chances or at least that is how I took it since State has not chance and has not for a while other than winning the SECT.

I still want to play in the NIT so wins are still valuable even though we aren't in the NCAA picture anymore. We have been on a slump so it seems like its only right for us to get a win here, its against a good team in Florida though. I have a feeling we win this one in a close game but I've been wrong before.

Dude, you're being wat too dramatic about this. There is nothing that could have been done to prevent Bailey's injury. He came down on a dude's foot. That happens all the time in basketball. It was a sad injury but it happens.

Could you please explain, though, how a better officiated game would prevent a guy from landing on someone's foot? I fail to see how that correlates.

I don't see how his career can't be over. When your leg is going one way and your foot another, sure seems like you wouldn't be playing basketball again. We'll see, I hope for the best.

And by the way - I've never seen so much whining about whining. Sure, I get angry at the refs, especially when it's my team and I perceive unfairness (whether biased or not). Either grow up and ignore it or shutup. Stop complaining, because it's not going to change my behavior.

It wasn't THAT injury, it was that the entire game got out of the official's hand and there was a TON more contact and physicality than there should have been, which leads to injuries like the one Bailey suffered. I'm done on the subject. I have my opinion, and you can have yours.

well in dawg's defense, he saw a game that the SEC refs were pretty much non-existent and folks called him a whiner. This was a good win for State and I was glad to see Stans change the line up a little. I hope Bailey's injury isn't as bad as it looked and he will be able to play again. The NIT is a little disappointing after the 6-2 conference start, but would have had to gone at least 11-5 or 12-4 to make the NCAAT anyway.

well you are looking at it in terms of us having more free throws, but the way I have always looked at it is the non-calls, the wrong calls, or just letting the game get out of hand. In that the SEC officiating sucks and I will just leave it at that, since they will suck next game too, but like OTP said, ain't no use in worrying about it since it is the same thing year after year..

As much as you don't like them...they happen and will continue to happen....btw Dawg..sitting at games on your lil cpu hitting buttons does not make you an expert on making calls...hell...half the time i look down at where you are, you aren't even paying attention to the game...especially when your lil buddy is sitting next to you.
