That's the second blowout win in a row for Bama. That's also our third straight win. In such a wasted season it's nice to see the guys get some wins under their belts. Imo, Pearson has done a helluva job. I hope he gets a head coaching job somewhere next season.

OXFORD, Miss. - The University of Alabama men's basketball got its first Southeastern Conference road win and its third straight victory overall with a 90-69 victory over Mississippi Saturday afternoon. The Crimson Tide extended a 16-point halftime lead to as many as 30 after the break, and the Rebels never got closer than 14 points in the second half.

Five Alabama players scored in double figures led by junior Anthony Brock's career-high 17 points coming off the bench. Brock knocked down 5-6 shots from the behind the three-point arc helping Alabama go 10-21 on threes as a team. Brock also came up with four of the Tide's seven steals.

Sophomore Mikhail Torrance contributed 14 points and four assists including a trio of three-pointers, while his starting backcourt mate, sophomore Senario Hillman, added 11 points. Sophomore Justin Knox put in 12 points on 4-7 shooting, and senior Alonzo Gee scored all 10 of his points in the second half to go along with eight rebounds.

Alabama shot 47 percent from the field for the game and dished out 18 assists on 29 field goals. The Tide out-rebounded the Rebels 43-31, and Alabama's bench outscored Ole Miss 34-16.

Alabama closed the first half on an 11-3 run behind a three-point barrage from Torrance and Brock to take a 49-33 lead into the break. Torrance scored eight of his nine first half points in the final two minutes with two threes during that span, and Brock added another shot from deep to give the Tide the 16-point halftime advantage.
