Depends on if Vandy Jeckyll or Vandy Hyde shows up.

South Carolina @ Vandy... does anybody really care? (just joking)

I think USC is dangerous against teams with a penchant for foul trouble... I don't forsee Vandy being such a team, considering Beal is solid. If Vandy plays in Memorial like they normally do they could win this game, but USC did shoot well last time out vs UK. I also think Vandy is gonna have to crash their defensive boards... because that an turnovers and the two ways you get extra possessions and USC usually gets more possessions than their oppponents.

We'll have no trouble turning the ball over, I assure you.

What's ironic is that our primary ball handler turns it over less than anyone in our starting lineup.

That's my point exactly. At least you do have Beal.

IMO, I see a let down. The history of SC is that we always have a let down game after a big victory. I hope I'm wrong though.

SC always plays tough in memorial though. I'm not looking forward to this game.

Vandy has trouble with quick guards...yeah, I like that matchup.

I always like our team at home, but I think its spring break and the gym will be dead so I won't be surprised if we lose either.

Should be a good game.

Hmmm... I certainly don't expect it to be like our first matchup this season where Ogilvy was still getting back into the swing of things, but if we play with anywhere near the same intensity we did against UK then I won't discount our chances. Horn certainly seems good at lighting the proverbial fire under their butts every game.

When I was in school, these two teams really didn't like each other so that would add another dynamic- not sure if that's really the case with these squads though.

Similar to the game earlier in the year @ Tennessee. We'll probably fight back into the game in the 2nd half only to lose by 3-5 points...heartbreak/let down city.

40-25 Vandy? The SEC is crazy this year...

USC is putting out the effort, but all game long they have not had any rhythm or chemistry on the court. It's like it's the start of the season, all over again. Whenever both Holmes and Muldrow can't keep from getting into foul trouble, it's always resulted in this: it happened against UT and UF. We are going to hustle our asses off the rest of the game, just to lose by 20+.

Game already over. Good game Commodores....

edit: Muldrow just fouled out of the game. The only thing he contributed to the game tonight was 5 fouls......

No offense, but USC may have shot there wad against UK or just thought they were going to coast against Vandy. Nice win for Vandy none the less...

congrats vandy good game played.....its hard when two technicals get called in a row and you're down by 15 with two 6 points possessions....in view of things it was a road sec game at a very hard place to play....its frustrating seeing your team go from opposite ends of the spectrum but were just gonna have to get over it and beat tennessee at home

ugly performance for the Cocks. It hurts seeding, but you guys should still win the east and the tournament easy.

I hate to say it, but Vandy played one of the most dominating halves of ball I've seen this year.

Wow, good game Vandy. You out-hustled and out-played us. Congrats.

We were very hot shooting. Ogily taking it hard to the basket and dunking set the tone. Goulborne had a couple nice dunks.

Vandy gave USC no chance in this one. We came out hot and stayed that way the whole way. If we can get consistant, this could be a very good team next year.

It seems like 1 out of every 4 games SC just doesn't come to play. They give little to no effort and get down so much in the 1st half it's impossible to make a run. If they "right the ship" and win these last two I really hope their next clunker isn't in the first round of the big dance.

We seem to bring out the best in Vandy ... good game Dores.

Luckily, we got up big early hitting a bunch of shots. I think USC still had plenty of time to get back into the game once the unavoidable cool down started, but Horn elected to press, and you can NOT press Jermaine Beal. So everytime they scored, we'd get a layup on the other end. That was the biggest key to the game, IMO.

Congrats to AJ (28 points) and Beal (27 points) for both setting career highs. Tinsley and Taylor with 17 and 16 were solid as well.
