Dawgs kickin' butt 18-8. Dayum, the Dawgs just can't miss and the Gator D didn't make the trip.

You're not going to lose, UGA sucks.

They don't suck today.

It's 7 minutes in and you act like they'll be hitting those shots all night. If I was a Florida fan I'd have a lot more confidence in my team who was playing an 0-9 SEC team.

Oh, I completely understand there's a long way to go. This UGA team is desperate for a win and UGA fans didn't show up. UGA's decision making is pretty darned good and the Gators look flat. All I'm saying is that this is a game that UGA can win.

Djshockley3

I can't believe this, UGA cannot miss a shot.

SECgamecock453

I hope UGA can keep this up! If we can beat Bama, this would be huge.

Djshockley3
02-14-2009, 03:23 PM
If UGA plays some defense in the 2nd half they could have a shot at the win. Woodbury is on fire, perfect in the first half with 20 points. That is the best half I have seen them play since the 2nd half against Arkansas in the SECC game last season.

Why, so Ware could deck him? That would be thuggish play right?

I refuse to believe we have a chance to win this game. No way.

Cmon DAWGS! We'll be on top of the SEC East (though still in a 3-way tie after UK and Tenn wins).

Thanks for the clarification.

I don't trust the Gators to pull out a close win. lousy track record.

I swear Georgia has so many heart-breaking losses this year. They've fought hard in a lot of games and have come up short. Please don't let that happen in this game! This is the most frustrating team to watch.

Well, this is only his second year in the league.

Just messing with you, man, I know you meant Billy D. But yeah, it is pretty crazy.

Well, then you proved my point. You've seen Florida choke games on the road. SC played really well that game and Frederick made a hell of a play at the end, but Florida has no killer instinct.

Case and point: today's game. Congrats UGA.

Awesome win, Bulldogs. That looked like a totally different team than the one that played us. Granted we have been playing really good defense lately, but being at home definitely helped the Dogs here.

Not only that, but I think UF isn't dead and buried yet.....Donovan is going to work this team up and try to get it back into the SEC East picture......and with USC's games with UF all played out, that means that they are going to come gunning hard at LSU, UT, MSU, and UK. And that means we will benefit from their efforts!!!

This is the first game I watched this season. It must be the anti-GG jinx.
Here is what I saw.
1. Ware didn't have 10 turnovers.
2. UGA shot lights out.
3. UF doesn't have a lot of muscle inside. Jackson went anywhere he wanted to.
4. UF plays defense like UGA.
5. UF is better than us, but I am happy to take the win.

These are both very true, and very related. We really don't have much inside this year at all. We're asking a 6'8" Alex Tyus to play out of position and play with the big boys in the paint. Kenny Kadji has the potential to be good in the future, but as a freshman with a smaller frame is having a tough time down low. We're also asking Dan Werner to play the 4, and Lord help the guy, he's just not that good, even as a junior. Next year should be better... hopefully. A year of maturity for Kadji and Allen Cheney (who should be recovered from injury), as well as Eloy Vargas, plus Vernon Macklin is eligible after sitting out a year after transferring from Georgetown.

Anyway, UGA played lights out yesterday. I just hope they don't do that March 12-15 this year. :raz: Good game.

Djshockley3

Ware played a great game yesterday, pretty much everyone did. Guys like Ware, Barnes, and Thompkins are the future of this team. Next year they should be alot better.

The score doesn't indicate the fact that UF got their ass kicked the whole entire game. That is what I get for talking **** for the first time this season. I'll just not even bother. :shake:

THis loss has to sting, because it was another loss to an East team, which could hurt when it comes to tiebreakers if they're needed at the end of the season.

But, of course, the SEC kissed Billy Donovan's butt and moved the SECT to Tampa... I'm still not sure why Louisville isn't a site, considering Louisville is just as extreme a location as Tampa.
