Game is at 4 on Fox Sports South.
We really need to bounce back and win this one but Auburn is a very good team. Should be a good game.

ill be happily surprised if we win. go DOGS!
If the Dawgs have ANY hope at clawing their way back into the NCAA Tournament discussion, they must win this game.
Tay Waller 4-of-4 from three...Auburn up 15-8 early. Waller is ridiculous.
Waller now 5-of-5 from three.
State getting embarassed. Nothing will fall. 31-15, Auburn...11:10.

I don't know who I want to win this game more...if MSU losses I think it just makes it that much harder on us @ MSU...

This is the most pathetic effort I have ever seen.
Auburn 11-of-15 from the floor.

After the let down on Wednesday we probably won't win another tough game all year.
Only 2 fouls called on Auburn all game. Missing TONS of calls.

Horrific shot selection. Just jacking up shots all over the place.
These refs are favoring Auburn hardcore.

What was that last call about. Phil made a shot and everyone went to the other and and they took our basket away.

State within 7. 34-27, 5:30

I was wondering the same thing...

Why did Phil just tap the rebound out of bounds?
I hate it so much when Varnado gets called on fouling simply for going for the block. He's being punished for being a great defender.

These refs are terrible. That is a terrible call. Clean clean block
Auburn's screens are movin' more than the stock market...
State hot from three....within 2.
State within two, was once down by 17. Nice comeback.
Varnado with a chance to tie it up from the foul line at 1:07...
Halftime, Auburn leads 42-40.

Refs are stinkin' it up.
++++1
That foul yall are griping about being called on Varnado didn't go against him. Either way, just because a block is made cleanly with the hand doesn't mean the player didn't get the shooter with the body. Most often this is the case. You geniuses might want to start paying closer attention before you start blaming referees. Not to mention, you sound like a bunch of whiny *****es when you start blaming refs for the majority of your problems. It's not the refs job to guard Tay Waller.

I am a trained referee and have been following basketball for many years. Don't question my knowledge of what a foul is. I am simply referring to the fact that Varnado is often punished for being aggressive defensively while not fouling.
And Waller can't hit 100% from three, and when he cooled off State caught up. We shall see how the remainder of the game goes.
And as far as the referees being bad - it's the calls they're MISSING not the ones they're making.
MSU ties it up at 45-45, 18:47...
MSU takes the lead, 46-45 at 18:25...
Varnado isn't being allowed to challenge ANY shots, being called for fouls for just leaving his feet.

Yet another missed call, this time a reach-in.

Grow up. And you wonder why noone pulls for Auburn.
Auburn is beating MSU down the floor...stretched lead to 60-54.
And to the ignorant Auburn fan on the board, it's clear the MSU is guarding Waller closely, he's just on fire.
Auburn is outplaying MSU from behind the arc.

This game is crazy but you really get the feeling that Auburn will pull it out.
That was a dangerous foul.
Of course they don't call an intentional there...it was clearly an intentional foul. Should be a technical.
Grow up. And you wonder why noone pulls for Auburn.
Grow up? I'm not the one whining about referees here. From my days of being involved with the game, the people who gripe the most about referees are children/teenagers or parents who don't know jack about the game.

It was a good hard foul. A little dangerous but I would have expected the same from our team.
Refs have gotten whistle-happy.
Refs are calling a foul against MSU on EVERY Auburn possession.

Someone just got HARGROWNED
That's the most obvious walking call I've ever seen not called. And now, somehow and mysteriously, Auburn is throwing free throws.

Ahh damn it we're giving this away.
Stansbury just gave up two points because of having Beckham out on the floor. Why is he playing at crunchtime??

Good win Auburn. Heck of a shooting performance.
I don't remember being outraged by bad calls like this in a long time but in the end Auburn would have won anyway.
That Auburn layup that happened over Jarvis near the final minute was the most obvious offensive foul I have ever seen. His arm was clearly extended all the way. Oh well. Here comes the NIT.

5 days and a new era in MSU baseball starts, then MSU basketball can suck it. :rotf: Just kidding..
you have to bring that A game everytime in the SEC as I have said over and over. I think State is NIT bound unless they go on a tear or win the SEC Tourney.

32 free throws for Auburn compared to 14 for MSU. That's the difference.

That's life on the road in the SEC. You can't worry about it, you just have to play through it.

Waller shot almost lights out and Barber is a great anchor. Just hope Auburn can stay healthy and keep this run going.
Auburn still has to play LSU twice but the good news is a winnable game against Georgia is up next.

Pace ourselves over the next six games then put on the afterburners in Atlanta, right?

Yep, Woodbury is back to where he was in the tourney last season. Its time to make another great 4 day run in March.

Atlanta?
The SEC did Florida favor and moved the tourney to Tampa this year.
Probably to make it harder on the Kentucky fans to go, who annoy the hell out of the rest of us who like going to the SEC tourny.
ZING! ;)
