Who won this game? On Volquest.com it says 77-76 UT.

lmao...think Auby won it on a last second layup..not quite certain though.

Hard to believe Aub won this game shooting 5/19 from 3pt range...would think that would be their only chance.

If Kentucky beats Florida on Tuesday night there will be a 3-way tie in the East with Florida, South Carolina, and Kentucky all being 6-3 in the conference.

Well, that sucked...That was huge bc that would have put us 4-0 on the road in the SEC, now our last 4 road games are SC, KY, FL, and Ole Miss, and that's a tough stretch

Yeah, it is...

It's looking like we could be shooting for a 8-8 conference record this season. That would put us @ 17-13. Our RPI would be the only thing to keep us in the tourney, IMO. Hopefully we can at least split those last four games on the road but it won't be easy.

I don't think an 8-8 conference record gets you in the tournament this year. Personally I like you guys. I respect that Tennessee has some quality talent. The continuity just seems to be lacking though.

Wow. How do you let a guy that shoots like 65% open like that at the end. I think that's part of the reason people say Chism should play inside more... when he slipped UT was all out of defensive position.

I had no problems with Chism on that last play bc he was hustling to make a play (and just about made it)...I have more problem with JP on that last play not staying inside to cover that guy

Either way, it's a team game and a team loss, but I personally didn't have a prob with Chism on the last play

You make a really good point. With Chism being out at the halfcourt line trying to break up the out of bounds pass, somebody had to cover him inside. Ultimately, maybe you chalk that up to a coaching mishap then. If Pearl purposely had Chism out like that, he should have made sure Prince knew not to leave the lane... I doubt Prince wouldn't have done that if Pearl asked or even commanded it.

I think Lebo may've saved his job with this win. He's gonna have to rebuild a lot next year though. I think with LSU, Auburn will be stung the most by the loss of seniors next year... good for them, Auburn's class is currently ranked 4th in the SEC.

I think he was going to get another year anyway. He's got a couple of decent frosh coming in and some interesting transfers from Oklahoma and Indiana to work with. All we need is two solid big men. They don't have to be spectacular. Just solid contributors on the boards and capable of getting some put backs.

Arent' y'all moving to a new arena next year? I just can't see AU staying with Lebo when they are trying to garner excitement of the new place

No, it's 2010 that it opens. Like I said, there's still some time to see what happens. Hell, even this season isn't a lost cause yet. Most of the games left on the schedule are winable.
