On the way to work today i was listening to 107.5. The guys on there suggessted the students chant "How's your sex life" and "Ta-xi dri-ver"

I'm all for it. Carolina should win this one easily.

I hope Horn has them focused and that there won't be a letdown.

UM is too soft to beat the Cocks imo.

I doubt we win- but I don't think we're soft necessarily. And for the record loss of consortium doesn't mean ED.

UM should go hard after Tubby.. or someone good that isnt a bigot with a crazy horny wife.

RailroadGin

So he's a bigot bc of the racial slurs, but 75% of State fans (and Ole Miss for that matter) who use the N-word aren't? Because everything we say in haste is REALLY what we mean. I'm sure you've never said something that you regretted that made you look like something you're not.

So you're saying OM should hire a black guy to disprove any ideas of racism? That's very liberal of you, Jesse.

around here ****** is the word for a black thug. & yes ive used it many times.
what AK did was much different.. as he represents UM 24/7. esp if he really hit the guy.

You didn't say anything about the assault- which I agree with you on. You were referring to his "bigotry". Hitting someone doesn't equal bigotry. I'm sure AK would have hit him even if he was white- haha But you didn't address the second part of my comment. You've never said anything hurtful you didn't really mean?

Carolina has played really well at home this season even in the 1 loss to Clemson. We had Clemson down by 14 at one time in that ballgame. Ole Miss has 3 pretty good players out for the year as well. I think Carolina wins this game at home. Everyone come out and full support just like for the Florida game. That place was electric.

GARNEY ARMY!! GO COCKS!

Yeah, Polyniece IMO is the second best player on the team...most would agree

I say South Carolina takes this one. Only way I can see Ole Miss winning is if Carolina suffers from an emotional letdown after that Florida game.

Cocks. Ole Miss has had too much to overcome this year and USC has had some solid wins versus Florida and Baylor.

Now that I think about it, remember who we played after Florida in football and lost to? South Carolina. Maybe we get our revenge in bball, but doubt it. Kinda weird though

I hadn't realized that the 3 players Ole Miss were missing were all guards. That puts OM in a tough bind, having to defend USC, who's strength is their guard play. USC is also one of the SEC's top 3-pt. shooting teams (2nd only to LSU 38.6% to 39.0%), which will place a strain on Ole Miss' perimeter defense.

I don't see our team having a let-down from the UF game. I see it use the UF game as a springboard for the rest of the home schedule...

Yeah, and our forwards are freshman, except I think Malcolm White is a Soph.

This may have been discussed before but will Chris Warren get a medical redshirt or did he play too many games before the injury?

With a 30 game season, 1/3 games played maximum would be 10 games. He played 11 or 12.

He played 11, one game over, but they are fighting for the medical redshirt.

Gamecocks lead 37-35 at halftime.

Our own offense was a bit ragged in the first half....whenever we had close put-ups, it seemed as if we rushed them. They weren't very smooth, relaxed shots, and mostly bricked off the rim or was put up too hard. The Rebels did a pretty good job of doubling up Downey whenever he tried to put the ball on the floor and slash to the basket...they cut off his lanes pretty good, and forced him to have to pass out to a teammate.

Still, when he did take a shot, he's done well so far: 5 for 8, and the game's leading scorer right now with 11 points. Our team overall is shooting horribly, though, at 37%. Ole Miss' 3-pt. offense is non-existent at 0 for 6 attempts, with all their guards injured. That's one area where perhaps we can capitalize in the 2nd half, and make up for those missed attempts inside....

now 11-0....we're up 48-35.

Good game cocks. Looks like we played decent in the first half, but not having a bench hurt us in the long run. O well, very impressive team USC has.

O, well I refused to watch the game, but I can't wait for the KY game this week. We are going to get pounded, but Meeks is coming to my friends apartment after the game.

Another great notch in the belt for USC. Congrats, Cock fans. You guys have a good club and it looks like Horn has you headed in the right direction for a change. Easily one of the top 5 SEC teams thus far IMO.

Very nice win for us...now we have to take care of Vandy at home before we go to Rupp.
